Asus launches ExpertBook P5

From the Asus desk comes a new arrival, which, according to Asus, is likely to empower modern professionals with cutting-edge technology and AI features.

Asus unwrapped the latest ExpertBook P5 (P5405) with Copilot+, the latest Intel Core Ultra processor, and up to 48 NPU tops, which all translates to smoother multitasking, faster application when loading alongside competent responses – under pressure.

Asus introduces features like AI Meeting Minutes to summarize meetings, AI translated subtitles to ensure seamless communication, and video conferencing muscle, to prove a point.

The ExpertBook P5 weighs 1.29kg on paper and is military-grade durable. At first glance, you see sleek aluminium chassis that tell a story of a premium device. A noteworthy piece of information was that the ExpertBook P5 uses recycled materials to achieve a 50% circularity rating.

On paper the ExpertBook P5 promises robust security measures in the form of a commercial grade NIST SP 800-155 compliant BIOS for protection against firmware attacks. When paired with Windows 11 secured core PC technologies, the result is a competent shild against software vulnerabilities.

The Asus ExpertBook P5 looks good and competent on arrival and maybe a compelling choice for the on-the-go professional looking for a competent and responsive device to power through long days.  Thanks to the combination of the AI features added, lightweight portability and convincing security features, the Asus ExpertBook P5 comes as a series that most likely shift consumer perspectives in the right direction, when it comes to choosing a reliable machine for the office.
